The Emergency Managers Weather Information Network (EMWIN) system was developed in partnership with the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) and other public and private organizations, EMWIN has evolved into a fully operational and supported NWS service.
High Sierra Microwave supports the EMWIN satellite program by supplying both an L Band to VHF converter and a VHF to 25 KHz converter (IF adapter).
Model 3341-
This downconverter receives the EMWIN weather data from the GOES 13 satellite and converts it to the 137 MHz band.
